Returns & Cancellation Policy
This section sets out the Returns , Refund & Cancellation policy of METTA CLOTHING . This policy applies to all products sold through METTA CLOTHING .
CONDITIONS FOR RETURN
Returns and Full Refund is allowed only if a wrong product/item different from what you had ordered is delivered.
1. In the event the customer receives a wrong or a different product from what was ordered , the customer shall notify us through this form within 24 hours of order delivery.
2. Products should be returned unused, unwashed, in their original packaging along with the original or accompanying price tags, labels, packing, barcodes, invoices, accessories, freebies and original packaging defined as essentials or applicable.
3. If any product is returned without the essentials, or are damaged due to the negligence of the customer such as improper packaging and handling leading to damage to the product or product essentials shall not be accepted for return and shall be sent back to you. The return packages should be adequately packaged so that there is no damage of products during transit.
If the request for returns is not in line with this Returns & Cancellation Policy, you will not be eligible for Returns/Refund. Our decision regarding the refusal or cancellation shall be final and binding on the parties and you further agree not to hold us liable for any refusal or cancellation.
Please ensure that any order Returns request is made before the end of 24 hours after the product delivery.The window of return will expire after 24 hours from Order delivery(as reflected on the courier delivery status report) and no returns request under whatsoever conditions will be accepted or entertained.
RETURNING WRONG/INCORRECT ORDER
Upon receiving your return request, we shall verify the authenticity and the nature of the request and if the request is genuine, we will arrange for pick-up of the product and your refund will be processed upon the receipt and quality check of the returned product/s. It may take a minimum of 4 to 10 business days to process your request for return of products. You will receive an email or SMS notification at your email address or mobile number that you may have provided to us during order placement.
In the event the logistics service provider makes attempts to pick-up the product and you are unavailable or not ready to handover the product, we or logistics service provider will not be held responsible for the delay in pick-up or processing of the quality check by us and hence the refund. A maximum of 2 attempts will be made by the logistics service provider to pick-up the product to be returned by you. Beyond 2 attempts the return request will be cancelled and a new return request for the same product(s) will not be accepted. This will lead to refusal of Return eligibility for the said order.
In case of any discrepancy in the status of pick-up of product , (where you claim the product has been returned, while our logistics partner suggests otherwise) refund process will be initiated once you successfully furnish the physical or digital courier slip given by our assigned logistics service provider at the time of the pick-up.
Upon receipt of the returned product by us and successful completion of the quality check, you will receive an email or SMS confirmation at the email address or mobile number provided to us. The refund will always be paid using the same payment method you used to pay for your purchase.
We reserve the right to not offer refund of products which
(1) we believe are being returned after use, washing or
(2) are damaged due to customer negligence or which are not returned with all the accompanying tags and accessories, as the case maybe.
In case you are handed over a package by the courier service that appears severely damaged or tampered with, please do not accept the shipment and take a picture and send it to us along with your Name, Email, Phone number and Order ID. In such cases where the product could have been damaged in transit or has noticeable evidence of tampering during transit we will refund you full amount or arrange for a new delivery after co-ordinating with the logistics service provider. This may take 4 to 8 days on average. In such an event it remains your responsibility to not accept tampered packages and report to us immediately with proof of package tampering. However, if you fail to do so and accept the order we will not be responsible. No returns or refunds request can be made later on under such circumstances.
NON RETURNABLE/REFUNDABLE PRODUCTS
The list of products that cannot be returned are:
Innerwear, Lingerie, Socks , Bath Linen etc any product marked as non-returnable or final sale on the product page/product category.
Surplus category included but not limited to Ex-Chain, Ex-Catalogue, Liquidated inventory etc.
Products that have been used or tampered.
Product sold in bundles/sets/kits or combination cannot be returned individually. If other products coming in a set are not eligible for return under Return & Cancellation policy , returns for individual items will not be allowed.
Products on Sale or purchased using coupon/promo/discount codes.
Products being returned due to your lack of attention on the description of products, including product images..
In case of Surplus category products, if they have any minor shortcoming they will be listed or displayed on the product page. No product returns will be allowed in such cases.
Your right to return the products shall apply exclusively to the products that are returned in the same condition in which you received them. No refunds will be made if the product has been used once, for products that are not in the same condition as when they were delivered or if they have been damaged/ tampered. Incase of products eligible for Returns, please return the products including all their original packaging, instructions and other tags etc , if any, accompanying the products.
Cancellation of an order can be done by us or by you as mentioned herein.
We have the discretion to cancel an order. The reasons for cancellation shall include without limitation the following:
Your failure to comply with these Conditions or breach of any of the policies / terms referred herein.
Technical errors or issue.
Any reason relating to credit / fraud avoidance.
Invalid address or wrong address is provided by the User in order details.
Malpractices used to place the order.
Multiple orders are placed for same product at the same address.
Order is not accepted even after two(2)delivery attempts.
Pricing or specifications on any product as is shown on the Website /Webstore due to any technical glitch, resulting into incorrect pricing or specifications.
Notwithstanding anything contained herein, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever without any further liability. On such cancellation, you will receive a notification through email or SMS on the mobile number provided to us.
In the event the logistics service provider makes attempts to deliver the order and you are unavailable or not ready to accept the product, we or logistics service provider will not be held responsible for the delay in order delivery. A maximum of 2 attempts will be made by the logistics service provider to deliver the order to the address specified by the customer at the time of placing an order. After 2 attempts, the order will be cancelled. In such cases, the refund will be made after deducting the shipping costs. In the event you have provided an incorrect shipping address, its your responsibility to notify us immediately. If the customer provides wrong shipping address and the dispatch has happened, the shipping costs will not be refunded. For address correction after dispatch, additional shipping costs will have to be borne by the customer in order to receive the shipment.
We reserve the right to remove any product from our website/webstore at any time and to remove or modify any material or content from the same. Although we will always do everything possible to process all orders, there may be exceptional circumstances that force us to refuse to process an order after having sent the Order Confirmation. We reserve the right to do so at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for removing any product from this website, or for removing or modifying any material or content from the Website or not processing an order once we have sent you the Order Confirmation.In such rare cases, you will be refunded the payment that you may have made.
If a Cancellation request is raised by you within 24 hours of placing an order or before the dispatch of products whichever is earlier, you will be refunded full amount including shipping cost. However, any cancellation requests raised after the products are dispatched or after the end of 24 hours, the shipping charges will not be refunded.
Refunds are provided for Returned / Cancelled products, subject to the eligible return / cancellation as per Return & Cancellation Policy. The refunds would be initiated as under:
1. Return request of goods raised within 24 hours of product delivery and the product is received by us in the conditions described previously as per this policy. You will be refunded the amount of the said product(s)..
2. Cancellation request raised by you within 24 hours of placing an order or before the dispatch of products whichever is earlier. You will be refunded full amount including shipping cost. In case you cancel the products after the products are dispatched , the shipping charges will not be refunded.
3. Return of wrong order shipment. Returns will be accepted only if the request is raised within 24 hours of product delivery. Product delivery status is confirmed as per the courier reports. Refund will be initiated only upon receiving the product and after confirmed quality checks at our end.
Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment.Refunds are normally processed within 2-12 working days after the completion of quality checks of product returned and further depends on various banking and payment channels.
If you face delay in credit of refund you may write to us or choose to contact the bank you hold an account with. There is usually a processing time for each bank or payment channel only after which the payment is reflected in the account.
We will do our best to resolve any issue that you may face.
