Returns & Cancellation Policy​

This section sets out the Returns, Refund & Cancellation policy of METTA CLOTHING. This policy applies to all products sold through METTA CLOTHING. The terms ‘We', 'Us', 'Our' is used to represent METTA CLOTHING and ‘You’, 'Your', ‘Customer’, ‘User’ is used for the customer purchasing from us.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURN

Returns and Refund are allowed only if a wrong order/product different from what you ordered is delivered.

1. In the event you receive a wrong order , you must notify us through the Returns Page within 24 hours of order delivery.We will arrange for a pick-up and the refund will be processed only if the returned product(s) pass quality check. It may take a minimum of 4 to 10 business days to process your request for return and refund. 

 

2. Products should be returned unworn, unused, unwashed, in their original packaging along with the essentials which are original or accompanying tags, labels, packing, barcodes, invoices, accessories, freebies and original packaging as applicable. 

 

3. If any product is returned without the essentials, or are damaged due to  your negligence such as improper packaging and handling leading to damage to the product or product essentials shall not be accepted for return.The return packages should be adequately packed so that there is no damage of products during return transit. 

 

If the request for returns is not in line with this Returns & Cancellation Policy, you will not be eligible for Returns or Refund. Our decision regarding the refusal or cancellation shall be final and binding on the parties and you further agree not to hold us liable for any refusal or cancellation.Please ensure that any eligible order returns request is made within 24 hours from the order delivery. The window of return will expire after 24 hours from Order delivery(as reflected on the courier delivery status report) and returns request later than the expiry of 24 hours, under whatsoever conditions will not be accepted.

 

 ORDER PICKUP

  • In the event the logistics service provider makes attempts to pick-up the product and you are unavailable or not ready to handover the product, we or logistics service provider will not be held responsible for the delay in pick-up or processing of the quality check and hence the refund. A maximum of 2 attempts will be made by the logistics service provider to pick-up the product to be returned by you. Beyond 2 attempts the return request will be cancelled and a new return request for the same product(s) will not be accepted. This will lead to refusal of Return eligibility for the said order.

  • In case of any discrepancy in the status of pick-up of product ,(where you claim the product has been picked up, while our logistics partner suggests otherwise) refund process will be initiated once you successfully furnish the physical or digital pickup acknowledgement slip given by our assigned logistics service provider at the time of the pick-up.

We reserve the right to not offer refund of products which 

   (1) are being returned after use, washing , or 

  (2) are damaged due to your negligence or which are not returned with all the accompanying tags and accessories, as the case maybe.

  (3) the return request is raised after the completion of 24 hours from order delivery.

DAMAGED/TAMPERED PACKAGE

In case you are being handed over a package by the delivery agent that appears damaged or tampered with, please do not accept the shipment and take a picture of the package such that it clearly displays the shipping label, and e-mail us through Contact Us page.

 

In such cases where the product could have been damaged in transit or has noticeable evidence of tampering during transit we will refund you full amount or send a replacement after discussing with you and co-ordinating with the logistics service provider.This may take  4 to 10 business days on average. In such an event it remains your responsibility to not accept tampered packages and report to us immediately with proof of package tampering. However, if you fail to do so and accept the order we will not be responsible. No returns or refunds request can be made later on under such circumstances.

 ORDER CANCELLATION

We can cancel an order. The reasons for cancellation shall include without limitation the following:

  • Your failure to comply with these Conditions or breach of any of the policies / terms referred herein.

  • Technical errors or issue.

  • Any reason relating to credit / fraud avoidance.

  • Invalid address or wrong address is provided by the user in order details.

  • Malpractices used to place the order.

  • Order is not accepted even after two(2)delivery attempts.

  • Incorrect pricing or product specifications on the website/webstore.

 

Notwithstanding anything contained herein, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever without any further liability. On such cancellation, you will receive a notification through email or on the mobile number provided to us and a full refund will be made to you.

 

If a Cancellation request is raised by you within 24 hours of placing an order or before the dispatch of products whichever is earlier, you will be refunded full amount including shipping cost. However, any cancellation requests  raised  by you after the products are dispatched or after the end of 24 hours, whichever is earlier, the shipping charges will not be refunded. 

 

ACCURATE SHIPPING INFORMATION

If you have mistakenly provided an incomplete or incorrect address you must reach us through the Cancellation & Returns page within 24 hours of placing an order or before the order is shipped whichever is earlier. If you fail to do so, and the delivery is not possible due to incorrect shipping address, we or logistics service provider will not be held responsible for the delay or non-delivery of the order. The order will be cancelled and in such a case the refund will be made after deducting the  applicable shipping charges. For address correction after dispatch, additional shipping costs will have to be borne by you in order to receive the shipment or else the order will be cancelled.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will notify you by contacting you through email or message.

 

In the event the logistics service provider makes attempts to deliver the product, a maximum of 2 attempts will be made by the logistics service provider to deliver the order.Beyond 2 attempts, if the order could not be delivered due to your unresponsiveness or you not accepting the order at the time of delivery, the order will be cancelled and in such a case the refund will be made after deducting the shipping charges.

 

We reserve the right to remove any product from our website/webstore at any time and to remove or modify any material or content from the same. Although we will always do everything possible to process all orders, there may be exceptional circumstances that force us to refuse to process an order after having sent the Order Confirmation. We reserve the right to do so at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for removing any product from this website, or for removing or modifying any material or content from the Website or not processing an order once we have sent you the Order Confirmation.In such rare cases, you will be refunded the full payment that you may have made.

REFUNDS

The list of products that are considered Final Sale and are ineligible for returns and refunds:

  • Innerwear, Lingerie, Socks, Bed & Bath Linen etc any product marked as non-returnable or final sale on the product page/product category.

  • Products that have been worn/used or tampered with.

  • Products on Sale or purchased using coupon/promo/discount codes.

  • Products being returned due to your lack of attention on the description of products, including product images, sizing chart.

Refunds are provided for returned or cancelled products, subject to eligibility as per this Returns & Cancellation Policy. Refund will be offered in cases where :

1. Return request is raised within 24 hours of order delivery.

2During pickup, our delivery agent will perform a Quality Check on the return.If the quality check fails at the time of pick up, your return will be cancelled and a refund will not be processed. 

3. Cancellation request raised by you within 24 hours of placing an order or before the dispatch of products, whichever is earlier. You will be refunded full amount including shipping costs. In case you cancel the products after the products are dispatched , the shipping charges will not be refunded. 

Refund will be initiated only upon receiving the product(s) and after passing quality checks.If the quality check fails then no refund will be made. Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment.Refunds are normally processed within 2-12 working days.

If you face delay in credit of refund you may write to us or choose to  contact the bank you hold an account with. There is usually a processing time for each bank or payment channel only after which the payment is reflected in the account.
